Genesis' Electrified GV70 made its European debut last month at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The fully electrified variant of the acclaimed GV70 compact luxury SUV joins the GV60 and Electrified G80 as the automaker's third battery-powered nameplate. A quintessential embodiment of the company's award-winning Athletic Elegance design language, the electrified GV70 showcases the highest standards of comfort, refinement, and versatility as Genesis continues on its mission to prove that luxury and sustainability can coexist.
At the festival, the Electrified GV70 was shown powering multiple Goodwood household appliances in a demonstration of Genesis' innovative vehicle-to-load technology. The Electrified GV70 is able to offboard at 220V and 3.6kW, more power than is generated by the average house. The technology turns the SUV into a mobile power bank, capable of powering and charging anything from smartphones and gardening equipment to other battery-powered vehicles."

While we won't know full pricing and specs until later this summer, we do know that the Electrified GV70 will offer 400V/800V multi-rapid charging capability. Joining the earlier-launched Genesis GV60, this technology makes the Electrified GV70 one of the few vehicles currently compatible with 350kW ultra-fast DC charging systems, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
